How do I configure my Opayo payment account to use Paytia?

Adding IP addresses to Opayo

There are three tasks required to enable Paytia to work with your Opayo account:

  1. Find your Vendor Name provided by Opayo. You will need to input this into Paytia during gateway setup.
  2. Log your Paytia service as a trusted IP address on your Opayo portal. This is explained in more detail below.
  3. Ensure your Opayo account — your merchant ID — has been setup to support MOTO transactions. This is also explained further below.

Registering Paytia as a trusted service on your Opayo account

In the Opayo portal, you will need to add our service as a trusted IP address.

When you log into the Opayo portal as an admin or technical user on your account you have the option to view settings from the menu bar

A pop-up window will appear. You can enter the following details;

Set up your Opayo merchant ID to support MOTO transactions.

This will be handled by your acquiring bank which may be something Opayo do for you or you do directly with your bank.

You will need to make your bank aware that you wish the merchant ID you have registered with Opayo to carry out MOTO (Mail Order Telephone Order) payments and request that they add the following payment services to your vendorID;
