Free app, three steps to your first payment
Here's the situation we built this for: your agent is on a Zoom call with a customer, everything's going well, and then it's time to take payment. Without Paytia, the customer reads their card number out loud. The agent types it in. The call recording captures every digit. That's a serious problem — Zoom records by default, which means the card data is now sitting in a recording that could be stored, shared, or accessed by anyone with access to that account.
We fix this by routing the payment away from the call entirely. When the agent clicks to start a payment, the customer receives a secure link in the meeting chat. They enter their card details on a secure keypad — the agent stays on the call and can see a progress indicator, but never sees or hears the card number. The digits go directly to Stripe. They don't pass through Paytia's systems, they don't touch your systems, and they don't appear anywhere in the Zoom recording.
The call carries on as normal. The agent sees the payment confirmation appear on screen within seconds. The customer never had to read anything out, and there's no card data anywhere it shouldn't be. That's what PCI descoping actually looks like in practice.
Once you've added the Paytia app to your Zoom client, the payment controls appear directly in your meeting. You don't need to switch tabs or send anything outside of Zoom.
Start a payment from inside the Zoom call itself. You don't switch apps, and you don't email a payment link and hope the customer finds it later.
If the customer enters card details on a phone keypad, we replace the tones with flat audio — so nothing recognisable reaches the call or its recording.
The agent portal shows progress, never card numbers. You can keep sharing your screen right through the payment without worrying about what's on it.
Built on Stripe's payment infrastructure. The payment happens inside the meeting — your customer isn't redirected off to some other page.
You and your customer both see live updates while the card details go in. Confirmation lands on screen within seconds.
Your customer needs nothing beyond standard Zoom — no plugins, extensions, or downloads. If they can join the call, they can pay.
Find Paytia in the Zoom Marketplace, install the app, and connect your Stripe account. That's the whole setup.
Mid-call, open the Paytia panel, enter the amount, and pick the participant who's paying. They get a secure payment link in the meeting chat.
Your customer enters their card details on the secure page. Stripe processes the payment and confirmation appears in your Zoom meeting — the call carries on uninterrupted.
Card data stays out of your Zoom environment completely, and your PCI scope shrinks with it. Card numbers travel straight to Stripe and never touch your systems.

We built the Zoom integration on Stripe's payment infrastructure, so payments process reliably and your customer never gets pulled away from the meeting.
Card data never touches your systems, so most of the compliance burden goes with it. We hold Level 1 certification — the strictest tier there is.
The payment happens inside the call. Your customer doesn't leave the meeting, and they never have to read a card number out loud to a stranger.
Take the payment while you've still got the customer on the call, rather than chasing it afterwards. You get paid sooner and every transaction is properly recorded.
You install our free app from the Zoom Marketplace. During a meeting, you pick the participant who's paying and send them a payment request. They get a secure link in the meeting chat and type their card details in themselves — nobody reads a number out loud, and nothing lands in the recording.
Yes. We're PCI DSS Level 1 certified — the strictest level there is. Card data never passes through your systems or ours; it goes straight to Stripe. That takes your Zoom calls out of PCI scope almost entirely.
Search for 'Paytia' in the Zoom Marketplace, or follow the link on this page. Install the app, connect your Stripe account, and you're ready to take a payment in your next meeting. There's not much more to it than that.
Yes, any valid Stripe account works. You connect it once during setup, and that's the account your Zoom payments are processed through.
Yes. You can capture first name, last name, and billing and shipping addresses alongside the card payment — so you get a full transaction record without any of it touching the call recording.
Want a hand with setup? We'll walk you through installing the app, connecting Stripe, and getting your team ready to take their first payment on a call.
