Bank Account Capture

Bank account capture for ACH and recurring debits

Capture US checking and savings account details securely — by phone with DTMF masking or online through a branded form. We verify and tokenize the account, NACHA authorization is captured at consent, and your systems only ever see tokens. Use them for outbound ACH, scheduled payments, or recurring billing through our API.

Step by step

1

Bank detail capture

Customer fills in a secure bank capture form. Your agent opens the Paytia portal, sends a secure form, and the customer enters their routing and account number by phone keypad or web form.

2

Verification and validation

Paytia validates the routing number against the ABA database and runs format checks on the account number. Optional instant verification confirms the account holder. Details are then encrypted and tokenized.

3

Outbound ACH processing

Verified details are tokenized and stored securely. Your system receives tokens you can use for ACH debits, scheduled payments, or recurring billing through our API.

Common questions

How does bank account capture work with Paytia?

Customers enter their routing and account numbers through secure forms or by phone keypad with DTMF masking. The details are encrypted and tokenized immediately. Your systems get back tokens — never raw banking data — which removes most of the regulatory burden of storing sensitive financial information.

How does Paytia verify US bank accounts?

We run routing number validation against the ABA database and check account format. For higher-assurance use cases we can layer in micro-deposit verification or instant account verification through a partner before tokenizing the account.

How does Paytia protect bank account data?

AES-256 encryption, secure tokenization, PCI DSS Level 1 infrastructure, MFA, and complete audit trails. Your systems never store raw account numbers — they only see tokens that can't be reused outside our environment.

Can I customize the bank capture forms?

Yes. Forms can be fully branded with your logo, colors, and copy, plus custom fields, ACH authorization checkboxes, terms and conditions, and validation rules.

How do I integrate bank account capture with my existing systems?

Through Paytia's API. Embed capture forms directly into your business applications, and successful captures sync to your CRM, accounting platform, or revenue cycle management system via webhooks.

What happens after bank account details are captured?

They're encrypted and tokenized inside Paytia's environment. Your system receives a secure token that can be used for automated outbound ACH payments, scheduled debits, or recurring billing through our API. The original account details never touch your systems.

Can I use captured bank accounts for recurring payments?

Yes. Once tokenized, you can use the token for automated recurring ACH debits, scheduled payments, or one-time outbound transfers. NACHA authorization is captured at the point of consent and stored alongside the token.

What types of bank accounts can be captured?

Both consumer (checking and savings) and business accounts at any US bank or credit union. The system works across the full ACH network.

How secure is the capture process?

PCI DSS Level 1 standards including AES-256 encryption, tokenization, and MFA. All data in transit is encrypted, and sensitive account information never touches your systems.

What compliance frameworks does this help with?

It cuts your PCI DSS scope (because you don't store payment data), helps with NACHA operating rules around ACH authorization storage, and simplifies CCPA and state privacy law compliance because raw account numbers stay out of your systems. For healthcare clients we'll sign a BAA so any incidental PHI is treated as Business Associate data.
