How Paytia works with Verifone

Paytia is gateway-agnostic: we add a secure capture layer in front of the gateway you already run, and Verifone keeps handling the processing and settlement. Here's what a phone payment looks like.

    Connect your Verifone account

    Link your existing Verifone gateway to Paytia. Your processing arrangement and settlement carry on exactly as they do today.

    Start a secure session

    Your agent opens the browser-based virtual terminal, or sends a branded payment link by SMS or email if the customer prefers to pay in their own time.

    The customer keys their card

    The customer enters their card on their own phone keypad. DTMF masking flattens the tones in real time — the agent hears nothing identifiable.

    Verifone settles the payment

    The tokenised payment routes through your Verifone gateway and the outcome lands on the agent's screen the moment it completes.

You connect your existing Verifone gateway account to Paytia, and we route secure captures through it. Paytia handles the card data capture — phone, payment link, stored card or web checkout — and Verifone processes and settles the payment as normal.

Do I need to change my Verifone setup?+

No. Your processing arrangement, rates and settlement stay exactly as they are. Paytia sits alongside the gateway and only handles the capture layer for remote payments.

How does this help with PCI compliance?+

Paytia is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Card data is captured on our infrastructure — your agents never hear or see it, and your recordings never contain it. Your phone channel qualifies for SAQ A scope.
