How do I use Click 2 Pay to create a payment?
Click 2 Pay puts a button on your site that starts a secure payment. You build it under Configure Telephony then Manage Click 2 Pay Button, including how it looks.
To create a Click 2 Pay button and begin processing payments with Paytia, follow the instructions below:
Step 1: Log In
- Access the Paytia merchant portal by logging into your account.
Step 2: Navigate to the Click 2 Pay Settings
- Once logged in, click Configure Telephony from the left-hand menu.
- Under the Configure Telephony section, click on Manage Click 2 Pay Button. This opens the Click 2 Pay settings.

Step 3: Customize Your Click 2 Pay Button
- Customize Appearance:
- Enter a name for the button in the Button Name field.
- Choose Button Text Color, Button Color, and Background Color by specifying the color codes.
- Select the Font Size and Font Family for the text displayed on the button.

- Select a Number:
- From the User Numbers dropdown menu, select the number you want to associate with the button.

- Generate Unique ID:
- Each button comes with a Unique ID that allows tracking customer interactions. Ensure this ID is correctly noted for your records.
Step 4: Generate the Click 2 Pay Button Code
- Once all settings are finalized, click Create Code.

- Review the generated HTML code. You will see options to Copy, Update, Delete, or Preview:
- Copy: Copies the button code to your clipboard for integration.
- Update: Allows modifications to the button settings. Click this option, make changes, and save them by clicking Update Code.
- Delete: Removes the button and its associated code.
- Preview: Shows how the button will look on your website.
Step 5: Save the Code as an HTML File
- Open a text editor like Notepad.
- Paste the copied HTML code into the editor.
- Save the file:
- Click File > Save As.
- Set Save as type to "All Files."
- Name the file (e.g.,
Click2pay.html) and ensure it ends with the.htmlextension.
Step 6: Test and Share the Button
- Open the saved HTML file in a web browser to verify the button's appearance and functionality.
- Share the generated URL with your customers.

Step 7: Customer Interaction
- When the customer clicks the Click 2 Pay button, they will be prompted to allow microphone access.

- Upon granting access, the system connects your customer to your business through Paytia's WebRTC service.
Step 8: Process the Payment
- Once connected, process the payment as you would during a phone interaction.
- Click 2 Pay ensures a secure connection and prevents common issues, such as dropped DTMF tones during phone payments.

Tips for Using Click 2 Pay
- Always use a secure HTTPS URL for embedding the button.
- Avoid placing the code in the header or footer of your website.
- Do not embed the code in an iframe section to maintain compatibility.
