Default call presentation

Default Call Presentation controls how your secure payment number behaves on incoming and outgoing calls — which caller ID your customers see, and which one your staff see. Here's what each setting does.

Configuring Default Call Presentation

Default Call Presentation controls how your secure payment number behaves on incoming and outgoing calls — which caller ID your customers see, and which one your staff see. Here's where everything lives and what each setting does.

Editing your call presentation

Go to Configure Telephony on the left-hand menu, then select Default Call Presentation.

For incoming calls, choose what shows on your phone when a customer rings: Caller's Telephone Number shows the customer's own number, while My Paytia Number shows your assigned Paytia secure number instead.

For outgoing calls, choose what your customers see when you ring them — again, either Caller's Telephone Number (your own number) or My Paytia Number (your Paytia secure number).

Whisper announcement

The whisper announcement plays a short double beep so whoever answers knows the incoming call is a secure payment call. To turn it on, set the Whisper Announcement toggle to On, then click Save Settings.
