Default call presentation
Default Call Presentation controls how your secure payment number behaves on incoming and outgoing calls — which caller ID your customers see, and which one your staff see. Here's what each setting does.
Configuring Default Call Presentation
Default Call Presentation controls how your secure payment number behaves on incoming and outgoing calls — which caller ID your customers see, and which one your staff see. Here's where everything lives and what each setting does.
Editing your call presentation
Go to Configure Telephony on the left-hand menu, then select Default Call Presentation.
For incoming calls, choose what shows on your phone when a customer rings: Caller's Telephone Number shows the customer's own number, while My Paytia Number shows your assigned Paytia secure number instead.
For outgoing calls, choose what your customers see when you ring them — again, either Caller's Telephone Number (your own number) or My Paytia Number (your Paytia secure number).
Payment system voice assistance
This sets the voice your customers hear during payment prompts. Pick a language (English-United Kingdom, for example) and choose a Male or Female voice.
Whisper announcement
The whisper announcement plays a short double beep so whoever answers knows the incoming call is a secure payment call. To turn it on, set the Whisper Announcement toggle to On, then click Save Settings.
My new secure payment number
This section shows your secure payment number — the one your customers call when they're making a payment.
Where we send incoming calls
In Call Me on This Number, enter the number where customer calls should be forwarded. Include the country code — +44 for the UK, for instance.
The number from which you call customers
Enter the number you'll call customers from when taking payments. It needs to be registered in the system before outbound calls will work.

Departments
Departments are how you group users in your Paytia account — they control the call scripts users follow, who gets reports, and where those reports go. Here's how to add one, edit it and keep the list tidy.
Ecommerce payment reports
Where to find your reporting for payment links and web checkout transactions, in both the admin view and the user view, and what each one shows you.
Extra features
Extra licences and features are bought from Subscription and Billing in the admin portal. Here's where the list lives and what happens once you buy.
Feature settings
Feature settings control Paytia-wide services, starting with sending our emails from your own domain rather than ours. They're all licensed, so you may not see every option here.
How do I add an user?
There are two licence types. Phone-only users just need a User ID and PIN; full Agent Capture Assist users get the web form. Here's what each one needs from you.
How do I add extra sub administrative users?
Sub-administrators only see the menus you give them. You build a role first, decide what it can reach, then attach users to it.
