How Users Sign Up for a Keyphone Account

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Provide Basic Information

   • Enter your first name, last name, email address, and password.
   • Ensure your password includes a combination of lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters for security.
     

2. Verify Your Email Address

   • Check your email inbox for a verification email.
   • Click the verification link to confirm your account. (If the email doesn’t appear, check your spam folder or contact techsupport@paytia.com for assistance.)
     

3. Start Setup

   • After verifying your email, click the Get Started button to begin the account setup process.
     
     

4. Integrate with Stripe

   • If you already have a Stripe account, link it to Keyphone during the setup.
   • If you don’t have a Stripe account, create one directly within the Keyphone sign-up process as Paytia is a Stripe Verified Partner.
     

5. Select Your Payment Currency

   • Choose the currency in which you would like to process payments.
     

6. Choose a Secure Payment Telephone Number

   • Use the search field to find a number by entering an area code or city name.
   • Select the desired telephone number your customers will use to contact you for payments.
     

7. Enter a Forwarding Telephone Number

   • Provide a valid business telephone number (landline or mobile) where calls from your secure payment number will be forwarded.
     

8. Service Billing

   • Enter a coupon code (if applicable) at the top of the billing page.
   • Verify your invoice details and enter your payment card information for the monthly subscription fee.
   • Confirm the payment authorization for recurring charges.
     

9. Complete Setup

   • After completing the billing process, your account will be fully set up and ready for use.

Testing Your Keyphone Service

• Ask a friend to call your newly set up secure payment number.
• Answer the call and press 7-2-9 on your phone to activate the payment process.
• Follow the voice prompts to complete a secure payment.
• You can use real card details for a live test (minimum amount of £1) or practice with random numbers for training purposes.
