Using Your Current Business Telephone Numbers with Paytia

Paytia offers the flexibility to port your existing business telephone numbers, allowing you to seamlessly integrate Paytia's secure payment services without altering your customer-facing contact details. Here's how it works and why it might be beneficial for your business:

Porting Your Current Numbers

By porting your existing business telephone numbers to Paytia:

  1. Make and Receive Calls as Usual: Your business operations remain unaffected. All incoming and outgoing calls on your existing numbers will continue as normal.
  2. Enable Secure Payments: Simply dial 7-2-9 during a live call to activate Paytia's secure payment process, allowing you to take card payments securely and in real-time.

Consideration for Lower Call Volumes

If your business processes fewer than 10 telephone payments per month, you can still benefit from Paytia without porting your number. Instead:

  • Use a Dedicated Payment Number: Paytia provides you with a secure, dedicated telephone number for handling payments.
  • Keep Existing Systems Intact: You can still answer customer calls on your existing telephone service. Calls requiring payment are redirected to your Paytia number when necessary.

This method enables you to quickly start using Paytia's payment services without requiring any IT or telephony changes.
