How to Change Your Stripe Payment Account for Zoom Integration
This guide explains the steps to update or change the Stripe payment account associated with your Zoom payment app.
Understanding the Accounts
When you initially set up the Zoom payment app, two separate accounts are created:
- Paytia Platform Account: Used to manage the integration and settings.
- Stripe Payment Account: Used to process payments made via the Zoom app.
Important: These accounts have separate usernames and passwords unless you choose to use the same login credentials for both.
Resetting Your Paytia Password
If you need to reset the password for your Paytia account:
- Visit the Paytia Password Reset Page.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Follow the instructions to reset your password.

Note: This username and password are used by the Zoom app to log into Paytia.
Changing the Stripe Account
To switch the Stripe account Paytia uses for processing payments:
- Log into the Paytia Platform.
- Login as Administrator using your Paytia account email address and password.
- Navigate to Manage Payments > Payment Gateway Setup.

Re-Syncing Your Stripe Account
-
Locate your existing Stripe profile in the list of payment gateways.
-
Click Re-sync Account.
Follow the steps to log into your desired Stripe account.
- Use the credentials of the Stripe account you wish to link.
- Once completed, Paytia will re-associate its service with the new Stripe account.
Final Notes
- Ensure the Stripe account you log into during the re-sync process is the one where you want payments to be processed.
- Test the new account connection to confirm all payments are routed correctly.
