How to Cancel Your Paytia Account

If you wish to delete your Paytia account, follow these instructions. Please note that deleting your account will result in the following:

  1. Permanent Data Removal: All personal identity data associated with your account will be deleted.
  2. Transaction History Deletion: Existing transaction records stored in Paytia will be permanently removed.
  3. Telephony Records Deletion: All telephony records in your account will be erased.
  4. Release of Secure Payment Number: Your Paytia secure payment telephone number will be released and cannot be reassigned to you.

Before proceeding, ensure you download any important data using the Export to Excel feature.


Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Log in to Your Paytia Account
    Navigate to Paytia Login Portal and enter your credentials.

  2. Access Subscription and Billing

    • On the right-hand side menu, select Subscription and Billing.
    • Choose the Delete Account option.

  3. Review Deletion Information
    Carefully read the warning messages regarding the consequences of account deletion:

    • You will no longer be able to access your account with your current credentials.
    • Your secure payment number will become inaccessible and may be reassigned to other merchants.
  4. Confirm Deletion

    • Click the Yes, proceed with account deletion button.
    • If you wish to cancel the process, select No, take me back to the dashboard.

  5. Email Verification

    • Check your registered email inbox for a verification link.
    • Click the link to confirm your account deletion request.
  6. Approval Process

    • Your deletion request will be reviewed by the Paytia system administration team.
    • Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email indicating that your account has been successfully deleted.

Important Notes:

  • Once the account is deleted, recovery is not possible.
  • Ensure you have backed up all necessary data before proceeding.
