How to Use a Test Card to Verify Paytia Works
To test your Paytia service, you can process dummy or test payments using supported payment gateways. This allows you to ensure the system is functioning correctly without handling real transactions. Follow the steps below to enable test mode and process test payments.
Steps to Enable Test Mode
Log In to the Paytia Admin Console
- Visit the Paytia admin portal at https://accounts.pay729.net.
- Use your Administrator credentials to log in.
Navigate to Payment Gateway Setup
- From the left-hand menu, select Manage payments and then click on Payment gateway setup.
- From the left-hand menu, select Manage payments and then click on Payment gateway setup.
Enable Test Mode
- Locate the Test-Mode Setting toggle button in the top-right corner of the screen.
- Switch the toggle from "off" to "on."
- Confirm the action by clicking Yes, please on the pop-up window that asks: "Do you really want to enable test mode?"
Processing Test Payments
Once test mode is enabled, you can use test card numbers provided by your payment gateway to simulate transactions.
For Stripe Users
- Stripe provides a set of test card numbers to use with their payment gateway. You can access the list here: Stripe Test Cards.
Steps for Testing
- Process a payment using one of the test card numbers.
- Verify the transaction status in your Paytia admin console.
Disable Test Mode
After completing your tests, remember to disable test mode by toggling the Test-Mode Setting back to "off."
