Paytia has partnered with Aircall, a cloud-based phone system used by businesses worldwide, to bring PCI DSS Level 1 compliant payment capture to Aircall users. The integration uses Paytia's Agent Capture Assist technology, enabling businesses to take secure card payments during calls without disrupting the customer experience.

How the Integration Works

When a call reaches the payment stage, the agent launches a secure payment session directly from their dashboard. The customer enters card details using their phone keypad. All tones are masked in real time using DTMF masking technology — the card data never reaches the agent, the call recording, or Aircall's infrastructure.

The agent stays on the line throughout, watching a progress screen that confirms when digits are entered and when the transaction completes. There are no gaps in the recording, no manual pause-and-resume, and no moment where the agent handles card data.

PCI Compliance Without the Overhead

Paytia holds PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider certification, independently assessed annually. Because card data is captured and processed entirely within Paytia's secure environment, Aircall and the merchant's systems stay out of PCI scope. This typically moves businesses from SAQ D (329 requirements) to SAQ A (22 requirements).

Who Benefits

The integration serves any Aircall customer that takes card payments by phone — from healthcare organisations collecting patient payments to law firms taking fees, insurance companies processing premiums, and retail teams handling phone orders.

Getting Started

Existing Aircall customers can add Paytia's secure payment capability without additional hardware. Most businesses are live within 24 to 48 hours. Book a demo to see the integration in action, or contact our team to discuss your setup.
