Log information
Log Information holds four things: transaction logs, third-party logs, call records and third-party webhook logs. Here's what each one is for and when you'd reach for it.
What Can You Do with the Log Information Menu?
The Log Information menu on the Paytia platform provides access to detailed records and logs related to transactions, third-party integrations, and telephone calls. This menu includes sub-menus for enhanced log management, enabling you to view and analyze key data.
Enhanced Log Sub-Menus
The Log Information menu contains the following sub-menus:
- Transaction Logs
- Third-Party Logs
- Call Records
- Third-Party Webhook Logs
Summary of Each Log File
1. Transaction Logs
The Transaction Logs menu provides access to logs related to transactions processed through the Paytia platform.
- Key Features:
- View records of transactions that have been sent to the processing bank.
- Access detailed information about individual transactions by clicking the View action button.
2. Third-Party Logs
The Third-Party Logs menu displays all webhook data returned by Paytia to your system when using Paytia API services.
- Key Features:
- View detailed webhook data sent from Paytia to your system.
- Use the View and Webhooks action buttons for additional insights into each record.
3. Call Records
The Call Records menu contains a complete log of inbound and outbound telephone calls made through the Paytia platform.
- Key Features:
- View details of all call activities, including timestamps and call status.
- Access additional data by clicking the View and Webhooks action buttons.
4. Third-Party Webhook Logs
The Third-Party Webhook Logs menu provides access to webhook data received by Paytia from your system when using API services.
- Key Features:
- View the data sent from your system to Paytia (post request).
- Check the response sent by Paytia back to your system.
- Analyze details through the logs displayed.
How to Use the Log Information Menu
- Navigate to the Log Information menu on the left-hand sidebar.
- Select the desired log sub-menu based on the type of information you need:
- Transaction Logs for payment-related data.
- Third-Party Logs for outgoing webhook data.
- Call Records for phone call logs.
- Third-Party Webhook Logs for incoming webhook data.
- Use the action buttons (e.g., View, Webhooks) to access additional details and analyze specific records.
By leveraging the Log Information menu, you can effectively monitor and review transaction data, API integrations, and communication logs, ensuring seamless operations and troubleshooting capabilities.
