How do I schedule reports?
Scheduled reports land in your team's inbox without anyone having to remember to run them. Here's how to set a schedule up, and how to check the ones already running.
Scheduling Reports in Paytia
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to schedule reports within the Paytia platform, ensuring timely delivery of essential data to your team.
Step 1: Access the Report Scheduler
Log in to your Paytia Account:
- Navigate to the Reports and Alerts section.
- Click on Schedule reports in the sub-menu.

View Existing Schedules:
- Use the dashboard to review active report schedules.
- Search for specific schedules by name or date.
Step 2: Explore Report Options
Search for Reports:
- Use the Search by name field to find reports by title.
- Apply a date range using the Search by date filter.

Select Report Type:
- Use the Pick the report to send dropdown to choose the type of report you want, such as:
- Call Minutes Used Per User
- Revenue Report by User
- Click Search to find specific reports or Reset to clear your selections.
Proceed with Scheduling:
- Click on the Create Schedule button to set up a new report schedule.
Step 3: Create a New Report Schedule
Open the Report Scheduler:
- Click the Create Schedule button to load the schedule configuration page.
Input Report Details:
- Enter a Name for your schedule.
- Select the report type from the Pick the report to send dropdown.

Step 4: Customize Your Report Schedule
Configure Recipients:
- Choose the user group using Load users from (e.g., Users or Departments).
- Assign specific users to receive the report using the Users who receive this report field.
Set Data Parameters:
- Select the time range for report data in the Export Time Range field (e.g., Previous Day, Previous Week).
Schedule Timing:
- Enter the desired date in the Schedule date field.
- Specify the Schedule time for delivery.
- Choose the frequency of report delivery (Daily, Weekly, etc.).
Save Your Settings:
- Click Save to confirm the schedule.
- Use Cancel to discard any changes.
