He's spent more than 40 years working in telecommunications and payment technology, and holds a patent in secure telephony payment processing issued in 2010. In 2014 Paytia's platform won Computer Weekly's Best Cloud Innovation award. His work is focused on removing card data from contact-centre systems altogether — so agents never hear, see, or store a customer's card number.
